Christian Management Australia

Indigenous Australians Commission
It was only recently that Iris Paulson found out where her mother came from. Iris, wife of Rev Graham Paulson, who was made the first Aboriginal president of Queensland Baptists was born on the Cherbourg Aboriginal Settlement not far from Murgon. Her parents were members of the stolen generation. Iris’s story is told by Lynne Stringer in ‘An Australian story – Past, Present and Future .’ (1700 words).
Charles Green, chaplain of Presbyterian Ladies College asks ‘What about the aboriginal churches today? ’ He discusses the situation and encourages everyone to be involved, through prayer; through financial support; through friendship offered (600 words).
Moss Nthla is a theologian, and Director of the Evangelical Alliance of South Africa. His address ‘ A reflection on white Christianity from a black point of view’ was delivered at the AD Missions Conference. It discusses racism and being black in South Africa (3,300 words).

Women's Commission
The vision of the Women's Commission is to multiply the influence of Christian women on our nation. The Women's Commission hold functions in some states, and has produced a number of helpful publications.
Gender or Giftedness: a challenge to rethink the basis for leadership within the Christian Community - by Marilyn B. ( Lynn) Smith – is a study on the role of women prepared for the Commission on Women’s Concerns of the World Evangelical Fellowship. It is an 87 page book, available from EA for $15.00 plus $2.45 postage (within Australia). It has sections on -
