Evangelical Alliance - Australia

Site Map

The Evangelical Alliance has a number of ways in which mature volunteers could be of assistance.

As at January 2008 these include:

At the Box Hill office

     -    data entry on our database (for a ‘details’ person with the requisite computer skills who can work with minimal supervision)

     -    occasional catering for small to medium sized events, such as national board meetings over a Friday and Saturday, or small gatherings of Christian leaders (people who can cook, work within a budget, and have a car).

     -    despatch of bulk mailing four times a year at the Box Hill office (people with two able hands and the ability to read instructions!)

Anywhere in Australia

    -    research assistance in Public Theology, identifying quality Australian evangelical contributions to theological thought about contemporary issues in public life (probably but not necessarily a person with theological training or expertise at graduate level or higher, and familiarity with internet and email).

In capital cities and large regional centres

    -    representatives who could attend events to which EA is invited, representing EA by their presence or with a display of EA’s publications and resources (outgoing people who are skilled at relating, and have an existing commitment to what EA stands for.)

For further information, or to offer your services in another area that may not be covered above, please contact Cristina Silaidis (cristina@ea.org.au or by calling (03) 9890 0633).
